Congratulations to Investigator Mike Simmons on his retirement after 27 years of dedicated service in law enforcement (22 with the Sheriff’s Office). Inv Simmons spent the beginning of his uniform career out of the Waterville Field Office and then spent the majority of his career as an Investigator assigned to the Sheriff’s Forensic Identification Unit (FIU). Investigator Simmons’ work in FIU was a key part to the successful conclusion of numerous major cases throughout Oneida County.
