According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; On October 8, 2020, at about 10:06 AM, Deputies responded to Route 13 in the Town of Camden for a reported one car personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Michaela Whitman (24), of Westdale, NY, was operating a white Ford F-250 on Route 13 Southbound. Due to failure to maintain lane, Whitman’s vehicle exited the western shoulder of the roadway into the ditch and traveled several hundred feet before striking a tree and coming to rest. Whitman was transported from the scene to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to be evaluated for head/neck injuries. No citations have been issued at this time.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Camden Fire Department, AmCare Ambulance, and the New York State Police.
