According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, an Eaton man was injured following a 1-car MVA rollover on Route 12 this morning just after 7 AM. John D. Decarolis 29, of Eaton was driving a Jeep Cherokee northbound on Route 12 when he swerved to avoid a deer that had entered the road. Decarolis' vehicle went off the road, struck the ditch and overturned before coming to rest on it's roof. Decarolis was transported by COCVAC ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica where he will be treated for non-life threatening injuries. No tickets were issued. The New York State Police, COCVAC and Waterville Fire assisted on scene.
