According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica teen was injured following a 1-car MVA rollover on Miller Road in Deerfield this afternoon just before 3 PM. Matthew Thomas 19, of Utica was driving a Jeep Wrangler east on Miller Road when he became distracted and started to drift to his right. Thomas then over-corrected left and crossed the westbound lane where his vehicle went off of the road, struck the ditch and overturned before coming to rest on it's side. Thomas was transported by Kunkel ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica where he will be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Thomas was cited for failure to keep right and issued a ticket returnable to Deerfield Town Court. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by members of Deerfield Fire and Kunkel ambulance.
