According to Sheriff Rob Maciol, a Utica woman received minor injuries as a result of a 2-car motor vehicle accident on Madison St just outside the Village of Oriskany Falls.

As investigated and reported by Deputy Brian Warcup, a 2010 Mazda being operated by Audrey Love, age 62, of Utica was backing out of a driveway when a 2012 Toyota being operated by Brian Dapson, age 49, of Oriskany Falls, was simultaneously backing out of a driveway directly across from Love. Both vehicles collided in the middle of the roadway. As a result of the collision, Jay Lanaux, age 61, of Utica, a rear seat passenger in Love's vehicle, complained of neck pain and was transported to the hospital by Central Oneida County Ambulance. Another passenger in Love's vehicle, Charlene Love, was uninjured as was Audrey Love. Dapson was also uninjured. Assisting at the scene were members of the Oriskany Falls Fire Dept.
