According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on October 21, 2020 at approximately 3:00pm, deputies responded to the intersection of Sangerhill Rd and Saw Mill Rd, Town of Sangerfield, for a personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Christie Selinsky, 55, of Waterville was operating a 2014 Buick traveling easterly on Sangerhill Rd when she was struck by Jenna Misiaszek, 19, of Oriskany Falls who was operating a 2010 Volkswagon Beetle. Misiaszek failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign at the intersection and was issued a citation and to appear in court on a later date.

Both Selinsky and Misiaszek were treated at the scene for minor injuries and were transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital by ambulance for further evaluation.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by New York State Police, Oriskany Falls Fire Department, and Centeral Oneida County Ambulance.
