According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Rome man suffered a leg injury due to a dirt-bike crash near Tannery Road in the City of Rome just before 5:00 PM this evening. Vincent DeGeorge 22, of Rome was riding a Kowasaki dirt-bike on a trail closest to Tannery Road in Rome when he hit a tree and his dirt-bike landed on one of his legs. DeGeorge was transported by AmCare ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Members of the City of Rome Fire Department and AmCare ambulance assisted at the scene.
