According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a 2 car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Route 5 in the Town of Vernon. One of the vehicles involved in the motor vehicle accident struck a telephone pole and there are wire down across Route 5. Route 5 is currently closed between Route 26 and Churton Rd.
