According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Taberg woman faces multiple charges after a six week investigation into a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Rome-Taberg Road in the City of Rome just before 7:00 AM on October 1, 2020. Jenna L. Dole, 25, of Taberg has been charged with Driving while ability impaired by drugs, (a misdemeanor) Assault in the third degree (a misdemeanor) and multiple traffic infractions due to her involvement in the two-vehicle personal injury crash. Investigation determined that Dole was impaired by drugs while she drove an SUV eastbound on Rome-Taberg Road and struck another vehicle from behind at a high rate of speed causing injury to the driver. Due to current New York State bail reform laws in effect, Dole was released on appearance tickets returnable to Rome City Court on an upcoming date.
