Annsville Man Arrested

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol an Annsville man was taken into custody after beating another man with a baseball bat on 11/28/20. Deputies were called to Church Street in the Town of Annsville where they found an un-named adult male victim with injuries after being struck several times with a baseball bat.

Edward J. Bachmann, 55, of Annsville was taken into custody without incident, charged with a Class D Felony of Assault in the Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon which is a Class A Misdemeanor. Bachmann is currently awaiting arraignment at CAP Court, being held at Oneida County Jail.

The victim was transported to Oneida Hospital by Ambulance, where he was treated for a fractured arm.
