According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a City of Rome man was arrested for stealing a motor vehicle. On November 11, 2020, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division responded to a car dealership located on Rome Taberg Road in the City of Rome for reports of a stolen vehicle. During the investigation, the stolen vehicle was located and a suspect was identified. On December 1, 2020, members of the Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division along with the Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Chad M. Squadrito, 25, for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree, both D Felonies. Squadrito was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and held at the Oneida County Jail pending an arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Court.
