On December 2, 2020, at about 420pm, a 911 caller on Park Ave, reported a structure fire on the roof of the County Office Building.

The incident was thoroughly investigated by Deputies and Utica Fire, and was determined to be good intent call.

An anomaly occurred between the position of the sun and exhaust from the roof heating system.

At no time was the public or employees in any danger.
