According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Munnsville man was arrested for having sexual contact with a 14-year-old child. On 12/04/2020 Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigators Ryan Marshall and Mark Chrysler, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Wade Berry ,42, for the charges of Sex Abuse 3rd, Forcible Touching, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in the Town of Lee in November 2020. Berry was processed at the Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office Munnsville Field Office before being released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Lee Town Court for his arraignment on a later date. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim. The victim has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.​
