According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on December 13th, 2020, at 9:11PM, Deputies responded to 6383 Bartlett Road in the Town of Westmoreland for a reported domestic in progress. During the investigation, it was determined the Christopher W. Moreland 19 years old, violated a stay away order of protection, after being released on his own recognizance from CAP Court after being charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd from a domestic incident earlier in the day. Moreland was taken into custody and transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing. Christopher was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd for violating the stay away order issued. Moreland was processed at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and then transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility where he is being held pending an arraignment in CAP Court.
