According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’ Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Utica man was arrested on December 30, 2020 by members of the CAC. Upon receiving a report in the afternoon hours of 12/30/2020, of allegations of sexual abuse against a two year old female child, the CAC commenced an investigation which was led by OCSO Sergeant M. Bolton who is assigned to the CAC. This investigation revealed that Giezi Gonzalez-Reyes, age 24, had subjected the child to sexual contact about two weeks ago, at a residence in the City of Utica, which was witnessed by an adult in the home. During the course of this investigation, it was learned that on the same day of that incident, Gonzalez-Reyes had also subjected an adult female to sexual contact, by force, at the same residence. Gonzalez-Reyes was arrested by Sgt. M. Bolton and Utica P.D. Investigator Titus Ciccone, who is also assigned to the CAC and was charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D Felony. Gonzalez-Reyes was held overnight, pending arraignment at Utica City Court on 12/31/2020. Upon arraignment, Gonzalez-Reyes was remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail. An order of protection was issued on behalf of both of the victim’s. The Utica P.D. Patrol Division and Oneida County Child Protective Services assisted with this investigation.
