Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol announces the arrest of one of Oneida County’s 2021 Top Ten Most Wanted. Sarah J. Vaughn, age 38 of Taberg, NY, had been wanted since August of 2020, by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office for the charge of Assault in the 2^nd Degree. During the evening hours of February 7, 2021, Vaughn was located by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division during a traffic stop on State Rt. 49 in the City of Rome and taken into custody without incident. Vaughn was remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and will appear in Oneida County Court in the near future.
