According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on February 13, 2021, around 8:00 PM, road patrol deputies responded to a single snowmobile accident that occurred on trial C4I, in the Town of Camden. Road patrol deputies determined the operator of a 2021 Polaris XC snowmobile, Bryan Christmas, 44 of Camden, was traveling East bound on trail C4I approximately .25 miles from Brewster Road when the operator attempted to exit the trail, striking an uneven snow embankment. The operator was ejected from the snowmobile and sustained unknown injuries at this time. The operator was transported to Upstate University Hospital via Camden Ambulance for further evaluation. The incident was turned over to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Recreation Unit pending further investigation. No tickets have been issued at this time. Deputies were assisted on scene by the New York State Police and Camden Fire Department.
