UPDATE:

The Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol along with Whitesboro Police have confirmed that the fire at 14 Hoffman Place in the Village of Whitesboro was not suspicious or criminal in nature. The fire started in the basement of the residence but was quickly put out by the Whitesboro Fire Department who responded to the scene. There were three people inside of the residence that were able to safely evacuate with no injuries.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a structure fire at 14 Hoffman Place in the Village of Whitesboro. There are no injuries reported on scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation. More details regarding this incident will be released at a later time.
