The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was proud to take part in “Operation Safe Stop” - a day-long statewide initiative aimed at educating drivers about the dangers of passing stopped school buses. Also, as part of today’s enforcement portion of the plan, Deputies followed numerous school buses throughout the county looking for violators of this serious traffic law.
