According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a 24 year old Utica man, DeQuan Gray, has been arrested for subjecting a 16 year old female child to inappropriate physical contact.

On March 12, 2021, the Child Advocacy Center received a report that a 16 year old girl had been subjected to the touching of her intimate body parts while in the City of Utica, in early March of 2021.

Utica Police Department Investigator Titus Ciccone, assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, conducted the investigation.

On Thursday, April 22, 2021, Investigator Ciccone, assisted by Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Ryan Marshall, Parole Officers Jamie Conover and David Traglia, arrested DeQuan Gray, in the City of Utica , charging him with one count of Forcible Touching, (A Misdemeanor), and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, (A Misdemeanor).

Gray was arraigned at Utica City Court on the charges and he was remanded to Oneida County Jail on a Parole warrant.

An Order of Protection has been requested on behalf of the victim and services have been offered to the victim through the Child Advocacy Center.
