According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On May 1, 2021 at approximately 12:30 am, The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol was called to 5710 Jerry Road in the Town of Marcy for a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation into the incident, Deputies determined that 42 year old Lucas Carrier from the Village of Whitesboro violated an active Stay Away Order against the victim. Carrier made physical contact with the victim during the incident and took the victims cell phone while she was contacting 911 before leaving the scene. Carrier was later located in the Village of Whitesboro. Carrier was arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Building where he was processed and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st a class E Felony, Grand Larceny 4th a class E Felony, Criminal Mischief 4th a class A misdemeanor and Harassment 2nd a violation. Carrier was arraigned at the Oneida County Jail and held on bail. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Whitesboro Police Department and the Whitestown Police Department with this investigation.
