According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a City of Utica woman was arrested for stealing from her place of employment. On May 10, 2021, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Unit responded to the Lutheran Home located in the Town of Kirkland for reports of an employee who had been paid thousands of dollars for hours she did not complete. The case was subsequently turned over to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit. On May 18, 2021, the Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Martha L. Chourb, age 22, for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a D Felony. After Chourb was processed she was transported to the Oneida County Jail where she was held pending an arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Court.
