Today, Officer Morgan of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office Community Affairs unit had the unique opportunity to welcome bicycle riders into New Hartford as they traveled from Buffalo to Albany to raise awareness about missing children across the Country and to honor families who have lived through these tragedies.

These riders then traveled to Sauquoit as a tribute to Sara Anne Wood, who the Ride for Missing Children campaign was originally started for, and then had a final stop in Utica before Wednesday’s trip to Albany.

Today's stop coincided with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and National Missing Children’s Day.

The members of the Sheriff’s Office wish these riders safe travels as they continue with this noble cause.
