Today, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office attended Memorial Day celebrations across the County.

The day started in Whitesboro with Sheriff Robert Maciol, Undersheriff Joseph Lisi, Chief Deputy Jonathan Owens, and the Sheriff Office Honor Guard participating in the Annual Memorial Day Parade.

Sheriff Maciol then traveled to the New York Mills Memorial Day Ceremony where he was honored to be the Master of Ceremonies.

Meanwhile, in Holland Patent, Sgt Carry Phair was honored to be the keynote speaker at the American Legion / Roberts Post.

In addition, in Verona, Dep Tyler Barnes was proud to represent the Sheriff's Office in the Verona Memorial Day Parade.

Thank you to all the members of Oneida County that attended these events today. Seeing the smiling faces and waves from community members across the County was truly a joy and deeply missed.

Let's not forget the reason for today, to Honor and Remember those who gave their lives in the US Military for our Freedom.
