Follow Up to Old State Rd in the Town of Camden Police Presence

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol the Oneida County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Camden man following a domestic incident at his residence. According to the Sheriff's Office Kenneth Miller Jr, 40, was arrested following a domestic incident with the mother of his children. From their investigation sheriff deputies discovered Kenneth and the victim got into a verbal argument over Kenneth being intoxicated and wanting to drive a vehicle. To prevent Kenneth from driving while intoxicated the victim hid the vehicle's keys, this caused Kenneth to become enraged. Kenneth left the residence and began damaging the vehicle, shattering the windshield with a hammer. The victim stayed in the residence with their children and locked Kenneth out of the house. Kenneth came back to the residence and through the door he began threatening to harm himself and put a knife to his wrist. The victim stated she was worried about him so she told Kenneth she was calling the police. After the police were called Kenneth ran into the woods with the knife. After a search of the woods and surrounding area by the sheriff's deputies, Kenneth was located and arrested without incident. Kenneth was taken to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. Kenneth Miller will be charged with Criminal Mischief 4th and Criminal Contempt 1st once released from the hospital.
