According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 06/03/2021 investigators with the Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Richard B. Nash, 41 of Rome, NY following a burglary investigation that began on 05/22/2021.

The burglary occurred at Potocki’s Auto Sales located at 8950 Turin Rd in the Town of Lee where it was reported that a male was seen going through several vehicles. The male was later identified as Nash who was found to have forcefully entered the building to gain access and secure keys for the vehicles. While Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputies were on scene it was also discovered that a motor home which was being kept at RV Lawn and Sport Inc. sustained damages in excess of $250.00. Through the investigation it was determined that Nash was responsible for this damage as well.

Nash was arrested for Burglary in the third degree, a class D felony and criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony. He was subsequently processed at the Law Enforcement Building and transported to the Oneida County Jail where he will be held for arraignment at Oneida County Central Arraignment Court.
