According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; On June 3, 2021, at about 0559 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of State Route 365 and Route 31 in the Town of Verona for a reported two car personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Patrick Seeber (32), of Canastota, NY, was operating a grey 2008 Chevy Trailblazer eastbound on Route 365 in the left turn lane for Route 31. Seeber attempted to make a left hand turn, crossing into the westbound lane of traffic before colliding with a black 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, operated by Bruce Pratt (37), of Rome, NY. Pratt was traveling westbound on State Route 365 through the intersection before the vehicles collided. The collision caused heavy front end damage to both vehicles. Seeber was treated and released on scene for ankle pain. Pratt was transported from the scene by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for a right leg injury. The front seat passenger of Seeber’s vehicle, Aliyah Seeber (9) of Canastota, NY, complained of abdominal pain and was treated and released on scene. The rear seat passenger of Seeber’s vehicle, Abbeygal Seeber (11) of Canastota, NY, was not injured.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Verona Fire Department, Vineall Ambulance, and the Oneida Indian Nation Police.
