According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on Friday June 4, 2021 at about 06:00 PM, Deputies responded to Route 46 in the City of Rome for a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Alexis Czeck (19), of Utica, NY, was operating a black 2007 Honda CRV in a westerly direction on Route 46. Investigation into the incident determined that Czecks's vehicle exited the north shoulder of the roadway due to mechanical failure and subsequently rolled several times before landing on its roof. Czeck was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No tickets have been issued.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by members of the Rome Fire Department, AmCare Ambulance, NYS Police, and Bill Ellinger's Collision.
