Today, Deputy Snider and Sergeant Kahl taught their 8th and final “in person” NYS Boater Safety course this year, at Lake Delta Yacht Club. The Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit always looks forward to the opportunity to educate boaters, both young and old, about Safety on the Water. Several extra classes were held this year in order to make up for not teaching any classes in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
