According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office is currently assisting Sherrill Police Department and Sherrill Fire Department investigating a structure fire at 204 East Hamilton Ave in the City of Sherrill. The fire was reported at about 12:35 P.M. on todays date, and was contained to a detached garage on the property causing significant damage to the structure. The Sheriff's Office Forensic Investigation Unit is investigating the fire and at this time the fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature. There were no injuries reported on scene. The investigation is continuing at this time.
