According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; On June 10th, 2021, at about 5:00 PM, Road Patrol Deputies responded to a single Car-Pedestrian accident at the intersection of Main Street and Miner Avenue in the Village of Camden.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Robert Allen (35) of Camden, NY, was operating a 2016 Chevrolet Impala, White in color,​ when Robert began to initiate a left hand turn from Miner Avenue on to Main Street when Robert failed to notice, Catherine Dunn (66) of Cleveland, NY, whom was walking in a designated crosswalk. Contact was made between the vehicle and Catherine resulting in minor scrapes, abrasions, and bumps. Catherine was treated on scene by Camden Fire Department before being transported to Oneida City Hospital by Camden Ambulance for further evaluation. No tickets have been issued at this time as the incident is still under investigation.
