Tonight, Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, had the unique opportunity to present at the Holland Patent Senior Award’s Night, where two area students were awarded “Honorary Deputy Sheriff.”

These two students, Michael Benedetto and Wyatt Humpf, caught the attention of the Sheriff in early May. During their “spring” Football Season, Michael was awarded MVP and graciously handed the Title over to Wyatt in response to his dedication, pride and positive inspiration to his Football Team. Wyatt is the Team Manager. This selfless act of friendship, kindness and respect needed to be acknowledged.
