According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Route 5 between Route 233 and Norton Ave in the Town of Westmoreland is back open to traffic. The power will most likely remain out in the area for some time until National Grid is able to repair a telephone pole and power wires that were taken down as a result of the accident.
