According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Clinton woman suffered minor injuries from a two car accident in the Village of Clinton.

As investigated and reported by Dep. K. Goldstein and Dep. R. Prody, Florinda Mendez, 50, of Clinton was operating a 2005 Toyota and was turning left from Chenango Ave easterly onto College St and collided with a 2019 Kia traveling west on College St. The Kia was operated by Barbara Budd, 75 of Oriskany, who received no injuries. Mendez complained of head pain and was transported by Central Oneida County Ambulance to St. Elizabeth’s hospital for evaluation and treatment. Clinton Fire and EMS assisted on the scene with patient care and traffic. Both vehicles required to be towed from the scene and the investigation is continuing.
