According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, an Oriskany man was arrested following a domestic incident that had occurred in the Village of Boonville back on June 26, 2021. Nicholas C. Sappah (32) turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit on today’s date following a lengthy investigation. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Road Patrol Division had originally been called to an address in the Village of Boonville back on June 26th for a domestic incident. Prior to Law Enforcement arrival, Sappah, had fled the scene. Due to the nature of the crime, the Criminal Investigation Unit was brought in to assist. Sappah was charged with one count of Criminal Mischief in the second degree, a class D felony, and one count of Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor. Sappah was processed and brought to the Oneida County Correctional Facility to await arraignment at CAP Court.
