According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on July 20, 2021 at approximately 6:13pm, police responded to a domestic incident on Wood Rd in the Village of Whitesboro. After a brief standoff, the subject was taken into custody. While taking the subject into custody, a deputy was injured during the incident and taken to the hospital for evaluation of a non-life threatening injury.
