NYS ROUTE 12BOVER TRIBUTARY TO ORISKANY CREEK

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Utica Regional Office has issued the followingtraveler advisory for motorists in theTown of Marshall,Oneida County:

On Wednesday, September1, 2021 starting at 9:00AM Route 12Bwill be temporarily closed ¼mile south of Route 315 in Deansboro due to the installation of a new culvert. Travel on Route 12B between Oriskany Falls and Deansboro will be detoured utilizing US Routes 20 and NYS Route 315. Theroadisscheduled to reopen Monday, September 20, 2021.

Duringconstruction, variable message boardsand detour signs will notify motorists of the road closure and direct them to the detour.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
