According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Clayville man was arrested for an active warrant and a domestic related charge on 08/28/2021. John D. DeCarolis, 30, of Clayville, was a suspect in a domestic incident that occurred in Clayville on 08/27/2021. On 08/28/2021, DeCarolis was located by Deputies and arrested in Clayville for an active arrest warrant and the charge of Criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. It is alleged that during the domestic, DeCarolis violated a stay away order of protection filed on behalf of the victim. DeCarolis was transported to the Law Enforcement Building in Whitestown where he was processed and held for Centralized Arraignment Proceedings.
