According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Waterville woman was arrested following a Domestic Dispute in the Town of Sangerfield. On September 4, 2021, at around 01:54 AM, a Road Patrol Deputy and a unit from the New York State Police were dispatched to an address on State Route 20 in the Town of Sangerfield for a Domestic Dispute. While the Deputy was on scene investigating, the suspect, Markelle Garbry, 45, of Waterville, drove a vehicle to the scene. Through the investigation, the Deputy found that Garbry had kicked a victim on scene and also threatened the victim while holding a screwdriver. Garbry was also found to be intoxicated when she drove to the scene. Garbry was placed under arrest for DWI-Common Law, DWI-.08 BAC or higher, Harassment 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, and Menacing 2nd. Garbry was brought to Centralized Arraignment Court for the aforementioned charges.
