According Sheriff Robert Maciol, a missing black lab that ran from the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Paris and has been missing since, has been found safe and reunited with her owner.

Deputy B. Warcup was dispatched to Kohler Rd in the Town of Paris where a resident stated they believed the missing dog was in their yard. Deputy Warcup arrived and it appeared to be the same dog as described from the accident scene. Deputy Warcup contacted the Town of Paris Animal Control Officer Rusty Jones, at which time Jones advised he would contact the owner to respond. The owner arrived on scene and a positive ID was made with the emotional reunion and many dog kisses. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the community for their diligence and many calls for possible sightings.
