According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, a Waterville man suffered injuries following a one-car rollover on Sally Rd in the Town of Marshall. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 7:30 PM Thursday, and determined that Ian Schaaf, 23, of Waterville, was operating a black 2018 BMW in a westerly direction on Sally Rd, at a speed that was not reasonable and prudent. Schaaf lost control of the vehicle and exited the north shoulder of the roadway, subsequently striking a ditch and overturning several times before coming to a rest. Schaaf was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Schaaf was issued a citation for speed not reasonable and prudent, returnable to Marshall Town Court at a later date.

Deputies were assisted on scene by members of the Waterville Fire Department, Central Oneida County Ambulance, and Mercurio's Auto.
