According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on October 2nd, 2021, around 6:18 AM, Road Patrol Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident, which occurred on Taberg Florence Road, in the Town of Annsville. Road patrol deputies determined Dakota Proper (25) of Taberg, was operating a 2019 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, East bound on Taberg Florence Rd, at a speed unreasonable and prudent, over a hillcrest, causing him to strike another vehicle, which was located blocking the travel portion of the roadway. Dakota sustained minor injuries to the shoulder and leg areas and was transported to St Elizabeth’s Hospital, via Amcare Ambulance, for further evaluation. Proper was cited on scene for failure to reduce speed under special hazards.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Taberg Volunteer Fire Department and the NYSP.
