According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Waterville woman sustained injuries in a one car rollover in Waterville.

As investigated and reported by Dep. B. Warcup, Melissa Phillips, 32, of Waterville, was operating a 2017 Chevrolet pickup in a westerly direction on Canning Factory Rd, when she crossed the oncoming lane and went off the southernly shoulder of the roadway. Phillips' vehicle went down into a ditch nose first, almost causing it to rollover end for end, but it caught some overhead wires with the rear of the truck which prevented it from rolling over. Phillips was transported by Central Oneida County Ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for complaints of neck and head pain. Waterville Fire Dept assisted on the scene. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
