Saturday evening, Sheriff Maciol had the honor of attending the retirement party of Floyd Fire Chief Dan Schwertfeger. The Sheriff presented the Chief with a Sheriff’s Recognition Award for his 35 years as Chief along with presenting Honorary Sheriff’s credentials to the Chief’s granddaughter. On behalf of the men and women of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, we thank Chief Schwertfeger for his service and we wish him well in his retirement!
