According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Deansboro man was arrested following a domestic dispute.

According to Deputy B. Warcup, on October 18, 2021, Dennis M. Stackhouse, 37, of Rt 12b Deansboro, was charged with 6 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 1 count of Harassment in the 2nd degree. Stackhouse allegedly punched and kicked his girlfriend during a domestic dispute on October 17, 2021, at their residence. During the physical altercation, their 6 children, ages ranging from 1 year old to 11 years of age, were also present in the residence. Stackhouse was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court at the Oneida County Jail and was released on his own recognizance, under the new bail reform guidelines.
