October 25th marks the start of the 6 week Basic Corrections Academy.

Members of the Oneida County Sheriff's office are joined by recruits from Herkimer County Sheriffs Department, Madison County Sheriff's Office - NY, Chenango Sheriff’s Office, and Cortland County Sheriff's Office.

This week of instruction will cover Stress Management, Personal Awareness, Officer Wellness, Physical Fitness, Military Drill along with Ethics and Professionalism.
