According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica man was arrested after calling 911 for several days using abusive and vulgar language.

Jahquin Hoston, 33 of Utica, was arrested by Deputies at the Oneida County Office Building. This after, he called 911 in excess of thirty times on date, with no legitimate emergency other than to harass Emergency Services Communicators.

This has been an ongoing course of conduct over several days with both Deputies and Utica Police responding to a city motel to check Hoston’s welfare.

During these law enforcement contacts, Hoston has been warned by authorities to cease non-emergency 911 contacts.

Hoston was charged with Aggravated Harassment, a misdemeanor, and is being held pending arraignment.
