Sergeants Manley and Phair were honored to escort the team from Wreaths Across America as they traveled through Oneida County earlier today.

Starting at NYS Thruway Exit 31, the convoy traveled to the Walmart Distribution Center, where the Wreaths were delivered, one of the Walmart Truck Drivers, Eugene (pictured) is a Marine Corps Veteran.

After a short ceremony, the convoy continued to NYS Thruway Exit 33 where the wreaths will travel to Pennsylvania with a final destination of the Arlington National Cemetery.

Wreaths Across America carry out the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach about Veterans from the Revolutionary War to present day. This tradition is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at the Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.
