According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On December 15, 2021, at about 4:41 pm, Deputies responded to Main St in the Village of Holland Patent for a reported motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Anita Brundage(69) of Newcomb, NY, was operating a grey 2012 Subaru Impreza in an easterly direction on Main St when she struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway utilizing the crosswalk.

The pedestrian, Leeann Paolini (56), of Holland Patent, was transported to St Elizabeth Hospital for injuries sustained due to the accident. Brundage was issued a citation for Failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Holland Patent Fire Department, StaR Ambulance, and the New York State Police.
