According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Sheriff's Office has a police presence in the area of Rt 69 and John St in the Town of Lee for a recovered stolen vehicle. The Sheriff's Office was investigating a check the welfare complaint on the side of the Rt 69 when they discovered the vehicle at the scene was a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from a Rt 26 address earlier in the day and was recovered undamaged. The investigation is currently ongoing.
